A couple from Hong Kong sent us a cute picture of their precious baby! At age 48, after countless IVF failed cycles in Hong Kong, this couple sought help from Dr Molinda Yang, Director of Reproductive Medicine. Following two IVF cycles and seven failed embryo transfers at other IVF clinics in Taiwan within a six year span, this couple sought help from Dr Frank Lu in 2014.
Following extensive review of past IVF histories and investigations, the patient was noted to have severe cervical stenosis, requiring hysteroscopic surgery. This couple decided undergo a third IVF with PGS attempt at Taiwan IVF Group, resulting five healthy blastocysts. In 2014, she underwent frozen embryo transfer and delivered a healthy boy!
Last year, they decided to have a second child and underwent second frozen embryo transfer and successfully resulted in delivery of a healthy girl.

This patient’s history is notable for severe adenomyosis. Despite undergoing surgery 5 years ago, the adenomyosis recurred and CA125 rose of 95!
This patient underwent IVF treatment at Taiwan IVF Group and received a course of long acting GnRH agonist treatment to decrease the size of adenomyosis. CA125 declined to normal level.
Following transfer of two frozen thawed blastocysts, this patient became successfully pregnant and delivered a beautiful set of twins!

53-year-old Ms. SHIAO from China lost her only child, a daughter, in a car accident last year.

This 42-year-old lady had a miscarriage in 2013, and she wasn’t able to pass the endometrium evaluation since then. She started taking medicine and injections, having traditional Chinese treatment, and having health food, etc. She tried everything. She even attempt implantation twice though failing the evaluation. She didn’t hit the jackpot. It was frustrating.
After 4 years of waiting and hoping, she was finally qualified for implantation in the end of 2017! The couple greeted their precious baby who they’ve been longing for in 2018.
We asked the mother about her thoughts looking back, this is her reply, “Don’t give up. There is always hope.”

For 8 years, Mrs. Kim had kept seeking help from countless fertility clinics and spent a huge amount of money, craving for a child of her own.
Introduced by a friend, she came to know Dr. Yang, the well known fertility expert recognized for her medical skills. Mrs. Kim started her treatment at Taiwan IVF Group in July, 2018. With Dr. Yang's great care, she received a donor-egg and got pregnant and gave birth to a pair of twins at first attempt.
“I am so lucky to have met Dr. Yang. Looking back on the eight years soaked in tears and the fact that now I can enjoy the family time with my children. Words cannot describe how grateful I am to her.” Mrs. Kim said, with joy in her eyes that could not be unseen.
There’s a special bond between us and this kid!
The couple went for IVF treatment in 2013 and 2015, in two different organizations respectively. Sadly, they didn’t get what they wished for.
In 2016, they came to us! After freezing her eggs, the mother was dedicated to a good health condition, by getting both western and traditional Chinese treatment. And in 2017, on the first attempt, her egg was implanted successfully! We’re so happy to welcome this adorable one to the Taiwan IVF Group baby squad!

With two babies in my arms, who’ve just pass one month old, I couldn’t help but tear in joy!
It was a tough journey, but just as Dr. Lu said, “Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy.”
I still recall the time when I first got pregnant with one baby after taking out of four eggs and injecting three blastocysts in my first IVF treatment. When I was 17th week pregnant, however, my baby had no heartbeat or any vital signs. It was devastating when it was confirmed by Dr. Lu that my baby was gone. Dr. Lu gave my many comfort by cheering me on.
After taking some rest for half a year, I was pregnant again after the second injection, this time expecting two.
Dr. Lu was concerned about me, and told me to remain lying in bed until I give birth. He also told me to hold on until my 35th week of pregnancy. Though in the end I only got to 34 weeks, and even though I once lost a baby in my womb, God gave me two more! Big thanks to Dr. Lu and Dr. Tian for making my dream come true.
Ms. Fan, from China, came to Taiwan IVF Group after suffering three habitual abortions. By receiving the third generation IVF treatment, she now welcomes her beloved daughter. Look how cute the baby is when she sneezes!

This adorable baby here is also a beneficiary of ERA. The embryo implantation was delayed by 12 hours according to individual endometrial gene expression. And following was a successful pregnancy and a smooth childbirth.

Every mom and dad dreams to have a little bundle of joy...but sometimes there are reasons why they cant concieve...some mommy's have problems in no. Of eggs, or blocked fallopian tubes, or not healthy uterus, or poor quality of sperm..my husband and i went to many different obygyne but no luck...
But with this procedure..we have endure a lot of trials...lost our first child at 6wks and almost lost our 2nd child...my faith and my patience was tested up to the point of giving up...but God never left us...he gave me a good doctor who made it possible to concieve, a good doctor and nurses who took good care of my daughter while at the NICU , a husband who is very understanding patient and giving in everything i want, a family who is very supportive both emotional and financial and a very strong baby...i was blessed and thankful and very happy that finally i have my daughter with me after all the trials..
For those couples who have been struggling to concieve and no luck there is a way...wait for the right time be patient, and always have faith...and visit our doctor he is the best....the only doctor who gave us the idea of what the problem really is...and with a solution....

We are so grateful for your help in making our dream of parenthood become a reality. We had sought help from so many fertility doctors in Taipei without any success. We are so grateful to have finally met such a nice and caring doctor like you.
On the first IVF cycle, although we got 49 eggs at retrieval, only 9 eggs fertilized normally despite ICSI, and at end end we obtained one normal day 5 embryo.
We thought about giving up our hope at this point. Thanks to your encouragement, we had the courage to give a second try!
On the second IVF attempt, we obtained 59 eggs. This time, 13 eggs fertilized normally. However, only one embryo developed normally to blastocyst.
We believe in the saying God never closes a door without opening a window.
Dr Lu suggested to undergo Endometrial Receptivity Analysis (ERA) to accurately pinpoint the optimal window of implantation.
Finally, following transfer of the two normal embryos, we were ecstatic to find out that one of the embryos had split into two and were were having a set of triplet!

This is a special year with a special Christmas. Mommy and Daddy are celebrating Christmas and welcoming New Year with this long awaited healthy baby! This is a fresh start for the whole family. We want to thank Dr. Yang for making us the happiest parent, making 2018 such a special year for us. We can’t take our eyes (and hands) of this precious one. What a lucky numbers !!
She tried to be pregnancy for 3 years,suffered 4 times oocyte retrieval,accumulate 36 oocytes ,6 blastocysts formation,4 times embryo transfer,2 times chemical pregmamcy,3 times ERA test,2 times myomectomy,eventually she did it,she owned a very cute girl on 2018.
The key factors for the IVF program include Good embryo quality,well prepared endometrial lining and adjust personalized timing for the embryo transfer.
Unfortunately,she is not good at the above.
Low AMH level 0.6(indicator for ovarian reserve).
It is difficult to trigger enough oocytes for PGS analysis.For the position of bilateral ovarian,it is also breathtaking during the oocyte retrieval surgery.
Every time is very thrilling.
Another challenge is the existence of multiple uterus myomas.It makes the embryo transfer more hard than expected.
At the end,the personalized timimg for embryo transfer.
We detect the mRNA expression of implantation factors using the ERA technique.
It is so amazing result!
We got the proper time for embryo transfer 30 hours shorter than the public.
The implantation window is lasting just few hours !

Good News from China! 38yrd Ms. Yang came to Taiwan IVF Group due to suffering years of Infertility. After going under treatment for quite a while, she welcomed a pair of twins on the first attempt of the third generation IVF treatment. What a time to celebrate! Best wishes to the twins!

The main reason for the premature ovarian failure is due to the improper ovarian surgery. At the first visit at our center,her AMH level(Ovarian reserve indicator)is only 0.1. Doctors have suggested her to consider egg banks. The great pressure brought her sleepless nights. However, she accomplished the impossible mission with faith and courage. She has 6 oocytes retrieval during the IVF treatment.And very lucky has 3 blastocysts formation. She chooses single embryo transfer after hysteroscopy adjusting the suitable uterus lining. She gave birth to the child that God had promised.
She shared a scripture from the Bible when she came visit,
“Let the light of your face shine on us. Fill my heart with joy when their grain and new wine abound. In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.” – Psalms 4:6-8
Well, we have two frozen embryos. Shall we fulfill the commandment of “Be fruitful and increase in number”?
Endometrial polyps often occupy the position of the embryo, which impacts the results of IVF treatments. Even if removed through surgery, it grows back again in a nick of time.
Due to endometrial polyps, this lady, now a mother of two, had no choice but to call off embryo implantation many times. There was even once when she took risk and tried, however, it was a fail attempt.
In order to get rid of the tenacious polyp, we used Leuprorelin to create a temporary menopause to eliminate any chance for the polyp to grow and seize the moment for the implantation of the embryo. And all went well! This year, she welcomed a pair of healthy twin brothers.
This mommy is true inspiration. Due to premature ovarian failure, she came to Taiwan IVF Group for treatment. Results weren’t positive during her early attempts of Menotropins. Strong and courageous as she is, giving up wasn’t an option. After trying another type of treatment, her condition did improve but was still below average. The year following, she received twice as much shots than average.
Finally, this year, the precious baby lies in Dr. Yang’s arms.
We hope this cutie has a happy and healthy childhood.
